Wedding Venue Spotlight: Yesterday Spaces

Asheville has plenty of wedding venues to choose from and each one features something extra special that makes it stand out from the others. Situated on a 70 acre working farm, Yesterday Spaces offers a rustic chic wedding experience. These spaces include a Main Event Barn with heated and cooled rustic Loft space, a renovated 100 year old Dairy Barn, a picturesque Ceremony Site with its magical Wedding Path, an Event Field with a fire pit, a Rain Garden, surrounding pastures with their resident animals, and wonderful views of the mountains. As a caterer, I love working with venues that have everything in house. Yesterday Spaces supplies 60 inch round solid quarter sawed red oak tables and wood chairs are both made in North Carolina. They also supply silverware, glassware, and chinaware. I also especially love working in their fully stocked catering kitchen. The main barn loft also has a background music system with hand held microphones and Ipod capability for regular use as well as performance equipment for bands and performers. Recently added is a digital projector and drop down screen for slide shows or movies. The loft space has been designed to include most of what is important for special occasions including weddings and receptions, social events, banquets, reunions as well as for meetings and seminars. They also offer lodging on the farm for over 20 guests in a fully restored and period furnished 1911 Farmhouse and an Appalachian style Log Cabin.Yesterday Spaces is located only 15 mintues from Downtown Asheville, yet feels secluded and far out in the country. They are one of the few venues in the area that have full amenities. It is no wonder they are so popular as a wedding space!
