One of the great things about being a caterer, is that I get to visit amazing places all over Asheville and the surrounding towns. Back in the late fall, Dining Innovations Catering was invited to preview Olivette Properties that recently launched a new outdoor events space. Olivette properties is part of a new agrihood community that strives to build “connections with water, nature, food, community and lifelong learning” that foster sustainable happiness. Olivette Event space one of Asheville, North Carolina’s newest outdoor event spaces, located only 10 minutes from downtown Asheville. Olivette Events is situated on the French Broad River bank with a view of untouched, pristine rolling hills as far as the eye can see. I can’t even describe how peaceful and beautiful the space truly is. The space is perfect for weddings, receptions, and company picnics. Some of the great features include covered patio with a stone fireplace, wedding ceremony circle facing the French Broad River, and rustic seating arrangements.
